ABOUT VETERANS RECREATION & REHABILITAION CENTER:

Veteran's Recreation & Rehabilitation Center is a nonprofit organization which is primarily operated by veterans.  It is our goal to provide activities and support services that cater to the specific needs of our veterans, not unlike ourselves.

Veteran's Recreation & Rehabilitation Center members, having served their time,  understand the stress and struggle of entering back into civilian life   after serving their country.  Often time their world has drastically changed due to physical, social, and recreation restrictions.
At the present time, our troops, sailors, air and ground crews are returning home with little to no civilian job experience. Those whom have lost a limb, having suffered even further;  will require specially designed training to advance themselves into a new career.

Our services are available for U.S. Military Members to include  veterans, service-disabled veterans, Reservists, Guard members, and active-duty service members.

 MISSION:

  • Provide support and services to underprivileged veterans and their families by providing housing, job skills training, behavioral/mental health counseling services and recreational activities, and reinvigorate the economy of the local and surrounding communities.
  • Provide housing to homeless veterans and their families
  • Provide job skill training/employment to veterans.
  • Support behavioral/mental health counseling to veterans and their family members.
  • Support the local community by increasing business revenue, offering employment opportunities and providing recreational and leisure activities.
